The Technology We Use
We only use KVM full hardware virtualization. We do not use container types of virtualization such as OpenVZ or Parallels. By using KVM vs XEN, Vmware, Parallels and VirtualBox we are able to achieve near native performance, especially when it comes to Asterisk Based PBX Systems. You will no longer experience choppy audio on IVR's, voicemail or announcements that you may receive on Vmware and simialar products.

About Pritell
Pritell is a subsidiary of Custom Surveillance and Technology. We built a data center for live storage, monitoring of our video surveillance, access control systems and our hosted PBX systems. As time progressed, we started to use more and more virtualization technology and we realized we could offer so much more as a company.
Most companies charge enormous amounts of money for dedicated services. Not us, most of our services are free. Now don't think that just because it's free it's bad. With our service, you will get a great product and 99.9% up-time. Since it's not costing you anything, there are no worries in signing up and trying us out.
Why do we offer free services? Simply because we need to push our data center to the limit so we can monitor and gather information and better understand the limits of what we have in place. We test redundancy, high availability, NAS systems, network, hardware, software, and many other things. We keep a detailed log to determine where the weak links are. This is good for you because you know we are on top of our data center 24hrs a day monitoring its status to ensure up-time. So please help us out and let us help you out by offering for free what most companies charge for.
FAQ
How long to provision my dedicated server?
Typically, servers are provisioned and ready to use within 2 to 4 hours, but it could take up to 48 hours. You will receive an e-mail when your server is ready along with a password and IP information.
What kind of access will I have to my server?
You will be able to access your server through SSH, RDP, VNC, TeamViewer, or any other way you choose to setup your server.
What if I want a Windows based operating system?
Yes, we can provision a Windows operating system. You will have to provide a valid serial number for the operating system you wish to have provisioned.
What can I use my server for?
Typical uses include PBX servers, web servers, Shout Cast servers, file servers, off-site backup, game servers, test beds, sandbox's, development, and anything you could dream up.
You CANNOT use your server for illegal activity including, but not limited to, spam, gambling, pharmacy, child pornography, bestiality ect. Usage of our servers for any activity we deem inappropriate will result in the immediate termination and deletion of your server.

Where are you located?
Our data center is centrally located in Columbus, Ohio. This allows for a good ping anywhere in the U.S. Also, we do not have hurricanes, floods, tornado's, earthquakes and other natural disasters that can cause service interruptions.
